NANTERO APPOINTS ED DOLLER TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Previous Micron Executive Joins Board As Fujitsu and Others Move Toward Production
WOBURN, MA – August 6, 2018 – Nantero Inc., the nanotechnology company developing next-generation memory using carbon nanotubes, today announced that it has appointed Ed Doller to its Board of Directors. As a widely recognized leader in the field of new memory, Ed brings more than 30 years experience in advanced semiconductor memories, including senior management positions at both Intel and Micron.
Ed has been a member of Nantero’s Advisory Board since 2015, during which time the company secured many new customers, added new strategic investors such as Dell Technologies Capital and Cisco Investments, and saw Fujitsu’s announcement of near-term NRAM volume production.
“Ed’s extensive industry experience is invaluable to Nantero,” said Greg Schmergel, Co-Founder & CEO of Nantero. “As we work with multiple customers on a range of different products for different market segments, his deep understanding of the customer and application landscape will be critical.”
Added Ed Doller, “Nantero’s NRAM has a unique balance of better-than-DRAM price/bit, DRAM-like performance, and nonvolatility, which no other technology offers in one package. This makes NRAM exciting for a range of markets from enterprise systems to mobile devices, not to mention upcoming applications such as AI, and I am excited to be part of the team bringing this technology to market.”
